About Reel Canto Films
Stories made for the way people watch now.
Reel Canto Films is an Oakland-based creative studio producing focused, Stories-format video and photography for businesses that want fresh, useful content without an oversized production process.
Our story
Built in 2025 for clear, adaptable content
Reel Canto Films began in 2025 with a practical idea: businesses need strong visual stories, but they do not always need a traditional commercial shoot. Social channels move quickly, vertical formats matter, and one well-planned production day should create material that can work across multiple moments.
We make Photo & Video Packs, Launch Countdowns, and Stories Campaigns for Oakland-area businesses. Our work can introduce a space, show a process, spotlight a product, document a launch, or give customers a closer look at the people behind a business.
How we work
Small-team production with a defined path
Plan
We clarify the audience, message, format, locations, and deliverables before cameras arrive. A concise shot plan keeps the production grounded and efficient.
Capture
We film and photograph with Stories-first framing in mind, balancing prepared scenes with natural details that make the business feel specific and credible.
Shape
We edit the strongest material into a cohesive set of assets designed for practical publishing, from individual posts to coordinated campaign sequences.
What guides us
Purpose before production
Every shot should support a real message, not add noise.
Care in every frame
Lighting, movement, sound, pacing, and detail all shape the final story.
A thoughtful set
We value preparation, direct communication, and consideration for each location and team.
